I'm sold on THJR. Move Shump for a young athletic big when JR comes back.

or even better move one of the two streaky sg's who play basically the same way :patrice:.

Real talk if the knicks really wanted to make that move go for it during the draft if they see somebody they like. Nobody is looking to move a decent young big on a rookie salary once they've proven they can play at all.

Melo still hasn't found his rhythm for the season...looking a lot like Pacer series Melo.

Bargnani finally finds his shot and instead of finding ways to cut Melo's minutes (he played 40+ AGAIN tonight) Bargs plays 18 mins. Artest scores 17 points on over 50% shooting and only plays 20 mins. What is Woodson doing? TRUST YOUR GODDAMN TEAM!!!

I understand you want to win the game, but the reason we lost this game is because guys don't know their roles...guys don't have that consistency and cohesiveness. Build that since we can't seem to figure out how to play basketball when the star player isn't on the court.

There was some bad shots, and the dumb plays makes it hard to find a silver lining, but I saw some good things out there after the first quarter. Bargnani starting to find confidence. He's looking less tentative and lost out there, his shot started to look good, and he bodied up Love and didn't make things easy for him at least. Hardaway missed alot of shots but his effort and poise is gonna translate real well later on. The offense ran alot less iso in the second half and we looked more fluid in terms of ball movement, more so than we did the first two games.

And Melo has been making a concerted effort to do more than score, he's always been a good rebounder, but didn't always crash the boards, instead opting to leak out on the fast break, he's doing less of that so far. He's moving the ball and in the fourth quarter made some really good passes actually, and he's holding the ball alot less; Downside of that is he's rushing a lot of shots(presumably to beat the double before it comes) when he should look for something else. And a few boneheaded plays aside, he played good defense.

Honestly, the stupid plays aren't too bothersome, I chalk it up as a side effect of frenetic play needed to get back into the game. The defense broke down a few times too but it's probably guys not knowing their rotations yet. What really bothers me is the slow starts and turnovers, it just looks like we're better off with a two pg backcourt to start to start games.

Pretty much how I feel:

It really feels like the Knicks could be 3-0 right now. They just won't commit to obvious decisions and clear-headed play until late in games for some reason. I will recap tomorrow.
losing in a blowout i can live with, losing close ones :sadbron:
I can't say this anymore. Back when it was acceptable for Knicks to get blownout I could live with it. Now, when the Knicks get blown out when I know their capable of putting up a better effort...it pisses me off.

the refs being fakkits didn't cause a 20 point lead breh. Knicks playing ass on both ends of the court did that. Refs fukking the game up helped for sure...but the Knicks would've been down double digits regardless

it being a 2 point game and them calling a foul on Prigioni fukking up the flow of the momentum was them being fakkits breh but to each his own :manny:
