congrats @Trip, your award for Best Troll Knick Fan has been passed to the homie above.
I'm trolling? :dahell: Novak is 43% 3pt shooter. Again, stop taking my words out of context. If all Bargs is gonna do is shoot 3's you might as well have Novak out there shooting because both of them can't play a lick of defense. Or did you forget what made The Knicks successful last year?

Bargnani gets to the foul line & is pretty accurate with the 18 footer from everywhere. Plus, Barg finally shot the 3 better last night. Novak didn't do any of those things.

I'm not saying i love the guy, but you cannot tell me that the Knicks were better off with Novak.

Let me see those same geek stats the dude tweeted with Novak on the floor. Come on now. EVERYBODY knows that the team went to shyt on D with him on the court. We'd see crazy swings when he was rendered useless by defenses preventing him from getting the ball.

1. He got to the line about once a game last season. In his career he averages about 4 FT attempts a game.
2. He shoots about 42% from midrange. That's okay I guess, except you don't really need another mid-range shooter with Melo and (later) J.R. getting major minutes. A big issue with the Knick offense late last season was how inefficient it could be at times. Now the Knicks added Bargs and Metta, who are the definition of inefficient offense.
3. If shooting better from 3 is making 2 threes, then I guess he shot better from 3. But he hasn't shot better than 35% from 3 point land in 4 seasons. Novak was a 45% 3 point shooter in New York. Bargs couldn't DREAM of shooting that well from deep.

Bruh... Novak DOES NOT create his own shot AT ALL.

He is NON existent in the playoffs. Regardless of how we play these 1st 10 games...when we make it to the playoffs Bargs will contribute considerably more than Novak since Novak accounted for 0 contribution.

How can you argue w/ the shot % when Novak can't get his shot off.

Choice A - a man who shoots 50% but 99% of the time can't get his shot off

or

Choice B - a man who shoots 35% and is able to create a shot 60% of the time?

Choice C - Something's wrong with the offense (ie. coaching).
nikka... so then cut him.

But since we aren't going to do that... and you had to choose, which would it be?

:dwillhuh:No...I don't.

How did Novak ever help us in the playoffs? And do you believe Bargs would be even LESS effective? That's all that matters.

Yeah but the next 2 games are against the Bobcats.

And shame on some of you talking about trading Shump. Get the entire f out of here with that. Again it's only 3 games in & people are panicking. I'd say we have to wait until mid December to see the true barometer of teams.

I don't want Shump traded out of panic. I want him traded to balance the roster with a young big and he has some value at the moment. Shump is a good defender who makes mistakes on D when he's over aggressive. I'd love to keep em, but I think the time is now. Shump still cant make a layup especially when he tries his bullshyt clumsy euro step...which is 80% of the time. Lil Tim Bug just needs to settle down and chill on the "hero ball" which he will and it wont be a problem to do. I see the competitive fire in him inherited from his pops so I know he will become a solid defender too. Sorry Shump! :manny:
