I should neg you not only for naming Chris Smith but that dude name to close to "Charles Smith"...so :pacspit:

I think you move Smith, but don't think for one second that someone will give us a pick for him. Smith for Gibson sounds fair in my eyes.

This is a lineup to set the tone up defensively...Metta still a tough player even at his age who can still stretch the floor with his shooting ability and his ability to drive to the basket. Kenyon is a given for his toughness, able to play smart defense (ie. amare and bargnani should learn from him how to play help defense) and his ability to rebound. Murry is able to keep the opposition in front of him something Felton will never learn to do. And Murry knows how to get in the inside which will only open for easy buckets for Martin down low, Metta in the Corner, Shumpert at behind the arc or Melo 15ft or above. By setting the tone defensively, then your 2nd unit can come in looking like this...

To be quite honest with you, Bargnani and Amare will not work because of spacing on the court.

Knicks will seriously have to look at moving Smith in January when he's able to be moved. The guy I would ove the knicks to acquire is Taj Gibson from Chicago. They are in serious need of a scorer like Smith and we're still lacking depth up front from a rebounding and defensive stand point.

Your starting lineup aint gonna work. The Knicks slow starts always get them into trouble and you got no secondary scorer out there with Melo. You think the defense will balance it out, but the referees will fix that. KMart and Ron reps precede them and they'll get called for at least 2 BS fouls apiece. Melo also gets called for fouls that should be 'play ons'. The great Shump will be gambling and getting burned or committing fouls all while being scared to drive. Murry....yall dudes are likely overrating. I didnt see too much preseason or summer league. But please understand that the summer league comp he shined against isnt NBA comp. I'm all for seeing what he can do, but :whoa: on the starting...
