D'Antoni only works when he can create a roster to suit his style. People seem to have forgotten how awful the Knicks defense was because they couldn't keep up with the pace they needed to play at. For his system like you said its a ton of jumpers, and guys gotta be sprinting up the floor, then back down after a miss. This current Knicks roster cannot play that way, and this was why he was fired in the first place.

His roster may be average at best in LA but they are winning because he has the guys to sprint up and down the floor on every play, and keep that pace up for 48 minutes. The Knicks can't play at that pace on Offense and expect to be successful on the other end.
