you know this one is tough right........thats why you have to remember this a business. Woodson is going to get fired over this caused not in small part by JR Smith boneheadedness. But not only is he going to get fired he has to get chewed out by JR the one guy he has foolishly stuck by fr so long..................people man i tell ya.

Woodson is desperate for his job. This doesn't shock me. But JR does act like a kid. I wouldn't be shocked if JR asks for a trade. The funny thing is that numbers wise, his contract isn't ridiculous. It's just that his mercurial nature and style of play makes it a tough pill to swallow.

An interesting subplot: Look for the Knicks to showcase Amare with this lifting of the minutes restriction. Him and Shumpert are the two non CAA Knicks. Could be worth watching after today, even if his contract is more valuable to other teams next year.

Prigs is the definition of a point guard. I wish he'd shoot more but he puts his teammates in great positions. Just love seeing him out there calling plays and telling guys where they should be. Plus his hustle on d. At the end of the day most of us could see that Felton was done and him being better suited off the bench. If we could trade Felton and JR I would be all for it.

And he doesn't shoot enough. He has to take those wide open shots to keep the defenses honest. Bargnani and Melo play the 2-man game quite nicely, considering their positions and style of play, but if Prigioni is gonna be that glue, he has to shoot sometimes.

Melo gets so many more catch and shoot opportunities when prigs is in the game, and he makes the most of them. We get a glimmer of what Melo could be with a great pg out there whenever prigs plays,but with all of the extra minutes he's playing now I just hope age doesn't catch up with him too soon.
