He did but it didn't work because the team is made of trash and bums who would Rather party and hang out then hit the gym to work on their game but on this site all a Knicks player has to do be on twitter in club with a groupie and he is a hero. If players are popping bottles after a win over a grub team guys on this site will say they got their swagger back and going on a run. This team is trash and should have kept Walsh as GM but he has no swag for the fans I guess. Woodson is awful as a coach and only the dumbest idiots think he could this or any team to a championship .
:heh: Who is this breh?

Who the hell said anything about swag? Who signed STAT's bum ass?

Dolan had him sign him thinking that would spur more high profile athletes to join the team. Stat is not a bum he had talent but injuries have taken their toll on him. JR is a bum , because he his healthy and has talent but didn't go extra hard to improve his game. Shumpert is just overrated on here because he has swag. He is at best a 6th man , Felton is a bum , he knows he has a weak game but like JR lives off past accomplishments and does nothing to improve his game. Winners never stop working on their game, Knicks are not winners.

Understatement of the year.

So you saying Indiana is not better with the moves he made? Knicks are in better shape with Walsh gone right, they have a contender right now? Live in denial brehs.
im talking strictly knicks, i dont give a shyt what he does for indiana. though he did pass on lance when he was with nyk so the pacers could scoop him

my point is walsh was allowed to tank for two years, the shyt wasnt too complicated and any gm could have done it if dolan allowed it. and no they are not a contender right now, because we have 20 million we cant really use to improve the team.

I dont think Donnie's plan was to be brought in and tank then be let go after. Once he didnt want to do the Melo deal it was over for him.

i can only go by what actually happen, he came in and was allowed to tank for two years, people bring up the cap space all the time, but that was because dolan let him do that for the dream of lebron. i was more aggravated losing grunwald, but that prolly has more to do with coming off our best season in years.

I agree but the initial plan wasnt to get rid of Donnie after he cleared cap space. He was supposed to be here for a longer. But once Dolan had the opportunity to get Melo he pounced on it.

i always wondered if that report if him being in that wheel chair when meeting bron, and that it had a negative affect, playing any role in dolans view of him from there on out.

Maybe it did....but I think Lebron knew the entire time he was going to Miami.

walsh was planning to get paul too
that's why he didn't wanna give up the farm for melo especially when Denver was pretty much backed into a corner
melo wasn't helping with his comments though
he seemed almost annoyed that da knicks didn't pull the trigger and he kept putting out hints that he wouldn't mind going to Brooklyn
if da nikka just waited till the off season:wow:

so do i, but dolan prolly thought otherwise. which is prolly why he wanted melo at any cost cuz he didnt want to lose another star again.

This. I always say chndler or Gallo should of been kept for another trade, or to atleast be a good/great starter. Imagine gallo's or chandlers three opening up defenses for Melo inside. But lets be honest what's really . hurting the knicks is Amare. He is done and getting a max.

I feel like this is eddy curry zach randolph all over again with fans. Zach while stupid and a blackhole (a lot like Melo) wasn't the real problem. It was Eddy. Put zach on a better team and he is still doing his thing, same goes for Melo. Knicks were the second seed with JR just going for his playing for a contract.

Besides Chandler on defense who have the knicks put besides Melo who has been really nice at anything? Nobody. If the knicks were smart (they aren't) they would let amare and chandler expire and build a team around Melo with maybe one more max/near max player.
