You still riding with Udrith? @JMurder :melo:
I never said I was riding with Udrih, I said Murry has to show more to earn his spot. I still feel that way somewhat but at the same time he should be getting more minutes. Beno should've never been in at the end of teh game. H e was turning the ball over and he's useless on the other end of the court. Murry should've been in at the end so those minutes could even out (something else I said I'd like to see)

Great to see Shumpert play up to his potential tonight. It was more than just shooting with him...he took good shots, he made great passes at the right moment, and he always found a way to be in the right spot. It goes without saying but we don't win this game without him. It also goes without saying that if the team can continue effort like this moving forward, our chances at a playoff push are all the more promising. We absolutely need either Shumpert or JR to play at their best consistently for THIS team to work. It's no coincidence that outside of injuries that this team has won less than a third of their games with both of them looking like shyt. Yes the team defense needs to be better, but the absence of former dependable play being missing hurts too.

I said i before and I will say it again Shump is a D and 3 type player. Good D on 1 and 2's and can shoot the ball if open (preferably behind the 3 pt line) Teams need guys like that and if shumps teammates like Melo, Jr, and Whoever is at point just continue to draw defenders and pass out to shump, I expect him to average double digits a game. The problem is the knicks don't normally run plays and fall into ISO ball by default.

So with that said I don't think its a coincidence they practiced for 3 days before this game and they came in looking to pass Shump to ball behind the 3pt line. Its something they will have to continue to practice but it was good seeing Woodson playng shump to his strengths for once.
