Griffin would be the new Dice.
Griffin would be the new Dice.I meant as in, he was wide f*cking open.
In his defense, I'd rather JR shooting a wide open three than almost any other shot he takes. He's 35% yeah, but let's think about how many of those three's he's shot that were actually good shots for a second. Still...he should've held the ball but like dude said if he makes it we're not thinking about it..on a shot he makes 35% of the time. There's no defending that. One of the dumbest plays in a long time.

Just an example.
I'm pissed cuz I got emotionally involved last night and I've been disconnected for weeks. The Rockets damn near gift wrapped this one for us. I remember the score was 100-95 Rockets and Harden had Beno iso'd @ the top of the key. I was like
, Harden about to have Beno like
. But he passed it! He passed to Brooks who missed an open jumper and immediately I thought we had life. I was like make them pay for not exploiting Beno when they had a chance. Sure enough we tied it up and then...the ball found it's way to JR. Beno fukkin passed it to him and gestured to hold for one. Why not keep it yourself and wave that dumb mufukka off since apparently you understood the situation and you're the fukkin PG? I would love to be in a Knick huddle prior to a situation like this. I wonder what the fukk they talk about?

I'm not trying to justify the shot, I'm just saying it's not quite as bad as when Bargnani threw his shot up when we were ahead. JR tried to go for the win with a wide open shot. Were there better options? Yes. Would I have preferred they ran a play for the last shot of the game or force overtime? Absolutely. If he had hit the three and won the game on that shot would I have thought twice about it? Not really, no.He was having a poor shooting night...
HE had 20 seconds on the clock.
Upon looking at that possession again...not only did he shoot a shot while having a poor shooting night and with much time on the clock...but he refused to pass it to an open Carmelo Anthony CLEARLY to his left.
There is no justification for what transpired last night.
Shouldnt take any shots. because tie game with 30 seconds left and Roc's ball<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<tie game with 8 seconds left and Roc's ball.I'm not trying to justify the shot, I'm just saying it's not quite as bad as when Bargnani threw his shot up when we were ahead. They drew up a play probably anticipating not to get the rebound and defending the next play. The coach probably didn't need to say "it's tied up." That's evident and is on JR's dumbass for not realizing it. With professional teams, coaches probably assume things like "it's tied" and "we need a stop" to be givens during specific times in the game. They're probably drawing up plays and coming up with contingencies for an alternate scenario.NO.
Bargs through that shot up w/ no thought process, it was just in his hand and he shot it before he could think about it. That was a knucklehead play.
This nikka... AFTER A TIME OUT ...was still uninformed about what was going on in the game bruh. He said it himself, I thought we were down by 2.

You're right, and that's the gamble, He has played roulette too much in his career. I love it when he makes his shots...but the day after... That is when reality sets in and we have to give an honest assessment. They drew up a play probably anticipating not to get the rebound and defending the next play. Again, I'm not completely defending him. I still blame him for the loss and hope we can trade him if he doesn't get out of whatever stupor he's been in all season. Just saying that if he hits the shot, we laugh it off as a silly choice but "it went in" and call him AR for a night

I understand an NBA coach should not have to say we are tied... And that is the problem. He had ample opportunity to collect himself, and he didn't.
It's funny, with all of our woes this year... I honestly think it all falls on our guard play...exclusively. And I mean our 2's. If Shump and J.R would have been their 2013 selves, we'd be no. 1 in the Atlantic.

- Melo made a signature LOOK AT ME I'M PLAYING DEFENSE ALL OF A SUDDEN GRRRR THIS IS HOW YOU PLAY DEFENSE play (as pointed out by Jared) at the end of the second quarter, just mugging Chandler Parsons for no reason to give him two last-second free throws. Nearly as dumb as what J.R. did, just less conspicuous.
