Proof?????? So do you have his doctors report on hand????? Are you his actual doctor????? Do you work for the Kincks bruh?

I'm with you in the sense that Amare isn't washed up and can be a contributor, but the proof is in the 2 knee surgeries he's had in the past 10 months. They aint cuttin on his knees for fun my dude. His knees will not hold up for 30+ minutes for a full season.

Whats so suprising?????? Per minute, last year was Amare's best season (keep in mind, per minute), this season his per minute numbers only dropped a lil bit from last year.

WTF do you nikkas have against Amare where yall think dude should be delegated to a bench role, dude is still one of the best in the game at running the P$R and his back to basket game is a lot better than it was in PHX.

I just don't understand the hate yall have for this nikka, when dude CLEARLY has a lot left in the tank.

When Melo got hurt last year, they bumped his minutes up to 30 a game and he ended up in street clothes in less than a week. There's a very clear reason as to why they don't play him in back to backs anymore.

I'm in awe at how you posted all that shyt & completely missed the most obvious variable

Fasho, I mos def understand the concern. I also remember PHX mentioning that his knees would need minor work in a few years back in 05. Amare's knees were not fukked up last year, he had debris floating around in his shyt from the prior surgeries. The drbris has been cleared in both knees and dude still looks athletic as hell, just as athletic as he was when he 1st got to NY.

I understand the concern, what I don't understand is the fact that NY aint even trying to get the best out of the minutes they play him. If he is only gone play 20 min, why not give him his time as a starter if you can see that he still impacts the game. That's where im lost at. It aint like they don't have another big to come off the bench (Bargs). I think Bargs would be better off the bench and Amare would have more of an impact out there with the starters.

The Knicks FO are notorious liars. Thats the problem. They might say its debris but in reality its something more serious. Amare is good For 15-20 every two games and nobody should push him for more.

I'm an Amare supporter too but now you're starting to wild out. Dude had surgery going into last season. "To clean debris". Came back played 29 games. Looked good. Then needed surgery again. To clean up the debris in the other knee. He wouldn't let mufukkas keep slicing his knee open if it wasnt necessary. He is not still athletic as hell and definitely not as athletic as when he came to NY. Yeah he's caught a few dudes sleepin this year with some dunks, but he get's stuffed more than he ever has in his career. The same lift is not there. I will say for a dude with the knee problems he has and all the surgeries, he's still pretty athletic for having gone thru that. :ehh: But he still has game. A whole lot of it IMO. I'm sure he could give 18-20 ppg with over 30 mins per game. But then you might as well plan on not having him down the stretch. I'm cool with 14 ppg off the bench. Now if only he would dedicate the same energy to hitting the boards, boxing out, and playing defense.....

I honestly wouldn't mind that. Bynum will still get his money off waivers, he would be able to chill and enjoy NY life & we could use him off the bench.

By the way...

With the Bulls basically giving up on the season, do you see Tom Thibodaeu staying in Chicago? I would love him coaching the Knicks.

I mean the bulls don't have the longest rebuild ahead of them but Thibodaeu might not want to waste the years

.... see that really interesting.... with this move he actually becomes a candidate for the job. I didn't think he was going to leave before but the rebuild writing is on the wall add to that the fact he worked here before as an assistant and if he leave Reinsdorf's cheapness will be a major factor to as why and the knicks have a chance. Especially with the rumor they want to give the next coach personnel power as well.

And Shumpert developing under Thibs...

I could see Thibs giving him so much positive and (beneficial) negative reinforcement.

Which would have been integral this year for Shump.
