Much as JR has annoyed me this season, I said I'd give until the All-Star break to get it together. He had no camp because of the knee surgery plus the initial game suspension. And Woody flat out said at the beginning of the season that JR would take a long time to return to form because of that knee.

JR is a knucklehead but he's our knucklehead. I'm tired of the "quick fix" trades. Let's ride out with the team we have. Everyone is just now starting to become confident in their roles. And while some would argue that we have too many guards (Shump, JR THJ), I think it's great because they bring different things to the table (Shump's D, spot-up 3s, THJ's shooting and open court finishing, JR's passing etc) to keep opponent's off-balance. Out of the three, we're guaranteed at least one will get hot every game.

The problem I (and I think most of us) have is that JR will be on the court despite having a shytty game AND Shump and/or Tim Jr playing better that night.

Too many games I'm watching where Hardaway will come in the game in the 1st half & provide a spark, only to be collecting splinters in the 2nd half while JR is out there JR'ing us to a L.

If the Knicks are getting Calls for Amar'e they should do everything in there power to ship him out.

Or the Knicks can Ship Tyson, if they can get the right package.

i wouldn't trade anyone; due to the string of injuries going around, i would stay prepared for another one. keep the depth. i don't see anyway to trade for an improvement at this point

First off, don't come in here after you've been ducking the other thread dedicated to you. Secondly, it's NOT like the Marbury situation because 1) Marbury's was in the last year of his contract iirc, 2) Marbury was benched for numerous games, not just 1 like Jr was. 3) Marbury's benching was unjustified, that was Da'Dummy's personal agenda against dude. Jr's benching was justified.
