What's your body shape?

Cornet: Kelly Rowland

Knowing your shape is one of the first steps in styling. It's helps to figure out what and where you want the eye to focus on when you dress so that you can look most proportionate. It's all about balancing that silhouette.

For instance, I am a broad shouldered, athletic cornet, meanwhile my best friend is a shapely sexy cello. We may have different bodies but we can both look good and stunt.

Short as in length. Small waist usually refers to narrow.

@BlackPearl from what I've looked up. A hourglass has a short waist and hips, a vase is a longer hourglass slightly more top heavy, a skittle has long slender torso and big thighs, slightly more bottom heavy.

You look like a Skittle, mainly because you have a longer torso and slender arms. They have Amber Rose as an example of a skittle. Most people aren't a true Hourglass.

I always feel there's a different shape for someone facing forward and facing the side because most of us black women have ass.

Facing forward the widest part is my shoulders, facing the side I'm more pear shaped.
