For ex wanting to knw what's going on in U.K, I'd either: do some research.. go, follow couple UK bloggers(casually), or watch BBC. But nothing would interest me less than being on sm platforms,cntrd heavy on culture other than mine. So don't that play that 'dumb American' trope just bc what's going on here is the only thing of note!
