While it was about popularity obviously, as it always is.

People did not mess with Meek's ways, Drake put on for him all the time, when he was locked up had his chain on, his face on his shirt, posted his shyt on twitter etc. Just months before that he was on his own team mate Wale talking the same shyt. Before that Cassidy talking about he's too rich to battle nikkas like Cas, stays shytting on "broke nikkas" etc. And then he talks in circles for square nikkas, talking about people being jealous of him when no one, ever, said anything bad about him or anything like that.

He turned the people, and then all he keeps on doing is posting rollies and ice on the gram saying that people are jealous and broke.

That's why so many people shytted on him, specially on his own favorite source of shytting on people. That's it, he became a very unlikeable person over the years. Just as he's on his way to build up his rep, he goes at the nikka with the most fans at the moment who rode for him the most, who nearly everyone was fukking with at that point and tries to assassinate his character . It's obvious that he acts on emotion and rarely uses whatever is in his head. The type of dude that can knock out his mother by mistake if she gets in his feelings and not apologize cause of his stupid ass pride.

drake was doing all that for the sake of his own image and to feel closer to the blocks the culture and characters he idolizes not because he's a solid nikka
wale and meek wasn't vibing so it's better to be real about it than fake cause your on the same label
cass is a sad case he's so washed and that shyt hurts cause he's a legend on that freestyle/battle rap wave but he's not worth too much energy right now

in every case he handled it how nikkas handle it usually no better no worse and he seems to be maturing in perspective now
he was younger and just getting on at those points

Just finished listening...Meek seems really sensitive about Nikki and doesn't have any depth to him at all. He's moving fukked up IMO and burning bridges being paranoid about who says what about him or Nikki. I tell you right now when that chic leaves him he's gonna be a wreck. The problem with these dudes is they arrogant and have no respect at all. They think once they get money they untouchable and they sitting on top of the world. Any advice and older cat gives them they seem to take it as hate or questioning their decisions. shyt is wild.

Everything we've heard referenced from Drake has been on some experimental shyt. Until I hear some typical Drake shyt referenced I give him the benefit of the doubt

He ain't just a rapper, he's a consistent hit maker.

Besides I ain't out here arguing he's a better MC than Kendrick etc. I'm not saying he's a top tier MC but he sure is a top tier artist. Until somebody else delivers commercial product to his level it won't change either

Good interview, even though I'm not a fan Meek seems pretty solid. I could tell from the onset of this whole thing that Beans was just trying to finesse the youngin for them 10-15 stacks that he was promised if he got him to perform, Beans don't give a flying fukk about Meek and his progression as a man/artist and all that fake deep ish he was talkin about on Tax's show, he needed that 15k, bad, and probably started feeling like he was begging Meek to do it and got heated. Meek probably should have did it, if not for the 80-100k he was gonna get then at least to put that 15k in Beans pocket, which should have been evident to him that he really needed, but it's not like it's something he had to do. Beans slimy.
