What if this dude is secretly a goon and dominates the league?
The Terrelle Pryor era is almost upon us in Oakland. The one-time Buckeye, selected in the third round of the 2011 Supplemental Draft by the Raiders, will open the season under center for Oakland in Week 1. While I firmly believe seeing what Pryor can do is the right move, there are reportedly some in the Raiders organization that don't feel that way.
According to NFL.com's Mike Silver, "there's a lot of skepticism" in the Raiders organization about Pryor as Oakland's starter.
Silver believes that Pryor has the backing of owner Mark Davis, the son of the late Al Davis, who chose Pryor as the final draft selection before he passed in October two years ago.
So what would others in Oaktown like to see happen? Apparently, per Silver, folks within the organization want to trot out undrafted free agent rookie Matt McGloin.
