afc is weak and the steelers are still the second best team. pats are just on another level and the steelers are imploding with all these mistakes

And this is why he isn't a great coach

Texans gave them a better fight

The Texans have the #1 defense in football, them forcing turnovers is the only reason they put up a better fight.

The Steelers laying an egg today doesn't mean Tomlin ain't a great coach. The Patriots have laid eggs in the playoffs before:comeon:

I try to stay purely objective bout Mike, even though it's hard given that I'm obviously emotionally invested in the team. But man, I was really expecting more after winning 9 in a row, having a loaded, mostly healthy roster. I mean, at the very least, can you not throw the exact same defense Br*dy has been known to shyt on since 2002? I mean, that was pathetic, embarrassing. And not by the players - they are good players. There were a few mistakes made out there, but for the most part, this game was lost by Mike Tomlin. Period.

We'll be infinitely better next year (assuming health and no suspensions) with Martavis and Wheaton back in. Maybe even Deebo comes back for one more run. But this? This here? I can understand playing them tough and taking a hard fought L. But the game plan thrown out there, which was failed every single time in the last 15 years against that team, lost this game for us before even the opening kickoff. fukk Mike Tomlin

I don't know how any Steelers fan could be comfortable thinking they could win with that secondary seeing how many open men Alex Smith ignored last week in his penchant to be a one read bytch ass qb.

to be at 4-5 and finish 11-5 while navigating suspensions, season ending injuries and off the field distractions while making it to the AFCCG? I thought Tomlin acquitted himself well this season. Bryant's suspension came back to bite them on offense. Hamilton dropped a TD, Coates had drops as well. NE doesn't play Brown the same if Martavis is on the other side of the field. I'm more pissed at Keith Butler than Mike Tomlin:yeshrug:
