Their ER match was dope. Punk never cut it for me as a full blown babyface though. He thrived as a heel or tweener.

Their ER match fit the tone of the feud, a personal feud in a hardcore grudge match. They fukked up making it personal from the get-go and taking what should’ve been Best in the World vs. Best in the World into what it was. You do that after Jericho takes an L at Mania, not before it.

How ironic Jericho of all people cutting these promos 10 years ago and now his gut is twice the size of his chest and his claim to fame is overindulging in champagne. Should have been a fire feud but this was during my college years when I never watched, but If it was worthwhile at the time I would have checked in
