The fact they got Chloë Grace Moretz as the lead means this is supposed to be the next big film franchise based on YA Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Supernatural book series now that "Hunger Games" & "The Hobbit" is ending.

started off like at least some cool special effects on some 2012 world ending shyt...then it shifts into some fake Divergent/Hunger Games type movie out of nowhere...i couldnt really follow/believe any of it.

It was a bit of a mess. The book did a better job of explaining everything. Without reading the book first I would've been lost with certain parts of the movie, specifically the team Zombie leads.

The vibe of the movie completely changed once she met that dude with the beard. I picked it on the plane not knowing it was a cheesy YA movie and it started out really good
