Totally agree.
Movie came out broke records.
And I watched a bunch of Internet YouTube opinion makers make 7, 4 hour live stream going on and on about the movie, throwing shade at Africans on the continent over a character and storyline that Americans created and made smh. Listening to some people you would have figured some Africans from Nigeria conspired with white supremacists to make a propaganda movie against black americans. I'm thinking, uh newsflash outside of the few characters who were played by black Africans directly from the continent, this was all American made smh.
Then it was the "black people will realize we not African we indigenous copper colored natives" or whatever bs that is.
Or
"Black people will realize we not Africans we are shem and they are ham, again more historically inaccurate bullshyt.
Black folks posting "John henrick Clark said we have no friends" again splitting themselves from the continental African when , again, Africans had nothing to do with the Damm movie smh.
Like this shyt is getting ridiculous and people are using the popularity of this movie to push their own biased agendas.
It was never going to be a perfect movie, it's from hollywood. Smh
But the movie was good and entertaining and our fight is in the real world, not with every storyline that comes out of hollywood.
