Exactly. In my top 5s, I didn't even touch on cosmic level characters like Tyrant, Galactus, Beyonders and all the Skyfathers mentioned. I just gave Earth based villians, cats don't want to take it to comprehensive levels, because they aren't even topping what Earth based villians are doing.

You are misunderstanding and showing your ignorance on some of these match ups brehbreh, allow me to explain...

Magneto CAN and WOULD beat Brainiac due to a style match up. Literally every offensive option Brainiac has outside of assimilating him has an immediate counter from Erik AND Assimilation will go about as well as it does from the Phalanx. Magneto CONTROLS the electro-magnetic spectrum, he could literally wipe Brainiac's coding out, its something unique to Magneto and his abilities, which is why its not an option from Dr. Polaris in DC.

Loki would destroy Joker in a fight. This is not about a popularity contest, this is about a 1v1, Joker is outclassed. No polling results can save him here.

Ultron is a living AI program, he's Marvel's version of Brainiac to be honest. The difference is that Ultron has actually won and conquered the universe in separate realities . He is also made out of Adamantium, Adam for all his strength, cannot break, shatter or bend Adamantium so he's basically fighting a swarm of unbreakable robots until they duplicate his SHAZAM call like the OMACs did and turn him human .


But seriously, you could mix and match any of the 5 I named with the DC villians and Marvel is winning almost any encounter and Darkseid is stalemated/trumped by Thanos. This is not a contest, this is a conquest.

and yet magneto bows down to the likes of apocalypse and stryfe in terms of power and conquest...gotta love the fan hype of powers rather than ACTUAL FEATS when it comes to magneto

and then you go talk about actual feats when discussing ultron, and pit HIM against adam, real clever, when the BRANIAC program would simply assimilate ultron and make him just another file. ULTRON is NOTHING compared to BRANIAC..and i'm just talking about BRANIAC 1.

its a subjective case, but as far as the scope? No.

Joker is a great character, but he is quite possibly the biggest plot device villain in existence. Characters seem to forget their training and base abilities when he comes around because it breaks the story. Look at Death in the Family for example. The ENTIRE Bat-famly gets snuck up on, beaten to near death and captured and Batman willingly allows himself to strapped in an electric chair just to play Joker's game and further the plot. It didn't make sense, and its a common theme amongst a lot of his iconic stories.

And just the idea that as a threat, he doesn't go beyond street level unless plot dictates it for him to get god powers like the Emperor Joker storyline. It's hard to compare him to guys like Doom and Magneto who actually have ambition outside of "chaos" and methods in which they achieve their goals in.

Tell me, in a 1v1, who do you think Spidey would have greater issues with, Magneto or Joker?

He'd have greater issues with the joker because he doesn't play by rules. Magneto at least has a sense of honor and pride and is even a TAD respectful. Joker would shoot spidey point blank range or just fukk with him enough to make him think he would. Or just kill his aunt and be done with it.
