Well it turns out it's actually not true, the first slave owner in america was a man named Hugh Gwyn.

Sorry, I guess i should have clarified that when people say 'THE FIRST SLAVE OWNER WAS A BLACK MAN' they are usually referring to slavery in the 13 colonies and america.

Yes.....they were black slave owners and black slaves
The were so called white slaves and white slave owners.
Poles,Jews and Irish were not considered white.....though they were European
The word slave is from Slav a European people
Does that justify or make right the system of Slavery and Racism?

I do not believe the first slave owner in the 13 colonies was a black man...
But what it does suggest is that the first Africans in the Americas were free men.
Which goes to shed light on the fact that free Africans were living all over England and Europe from time immemorial to today.

Reparations is for injustices meted out on a people that are injurious (damages tort).....Slavery,Jim Crow and Racism(racist laws), Redlining, Predatory lending,Homestead act etc
