Honestly when horrible things happen in the black community I believe reporters go find the dumbest nikkas they can find and interview them about the plight of our community.
DIng....ding....mothaf#ckin ding
You notice that they never interview leading scholars on the black experience or articulate, pro-black personalities. They never interview black people with crisp mouthpieces and actual historical perspective on white supremacy.
They interview rappers, athletes and entertainers....generally mush-mouthed individuals who can only think when in a studio, a set or running with some type of ball. Then, these n#ggas are genius. But ask them some real sh#t, and they start sounding like someone stuck cream of wheat in their mouth. Generally because that's what happened figuratively...these types are surrounded by other pea-brained n#ggas from their block AND non-black "advisors."
Why don't they interview Farrakhan?
Why don't they interview Dr. Boyce Watkins?
Why don't they interview Tariq Nasheed?
Why don't they interview Dr. Michelle Alexander?
Any of these people, and some others, would be actual interviewees on these subjects. But no, the media isn't stupid. They're going to find the right fit for their interview agenda.
