I could never get into this show. The two leads were just not good especially the rapper, dude had no charisma or swag about himself. I don't know what it was but something felt inauthentic like it was just modern people on their way to a costume party as opposed to like a real peak at what the scene was like back then.

watched the first episode 2 months ago and was like meh
way too much talking and corniness
and that obnoxious simp dominican kid got on my nerve quick

about to delete the rest off the hard drive then

This. Like how does netflix gauge which shows are profitable without ads?

I heard the cancellation was mutual between the show runner or whatever and Netflix. The dude basically said he couldn't commit to it no more cause he wanted to do other stuff. It's not like Netflix was like duck this show. It was the creator saying he just couldn't do it anymore

with that budget there's no way netflix made any money from this right? i dont know a single person who was gonna sign up for netflix just for that show

Damn sad to see this go, loved the first season, second season was basura. You could tell they blew through 90 Percent of the budget on just the first season.

Also they paid Nas too much for those trash ass bars he was spitting


How much was he paid? I never heard a fugure.
