The Hateful Eight vs. The Revenant

It's starting brehs. Probably the closest "movie beef" since Wolf of Wall Street vs. American Hustle. Or back to No Country for Old Men vs. There Will Be Blood.

It seems like fans/critics are picking sides. The ones that love Revenant are hating(hate is a strong word...but not as enthused) The Hateful Eight and vice versa.

The Hateful Eight seems very similar to Django in terms of look, style and period. Like it could be a sequel almost. I was hoping for him to do something drastically different. I'm sure the film will be great though.

As of right now I'm more interested in The Revenant.

Tarantino's movies are entertaining, inarritu is a depressing fukk both movies look stunning.
I am more excited for TH8 than The revenant.
