Even though 2015's most commercial rap beef is decidedly over, it appears to have had a lasting effect on ticket sales for Nicki Minaj’s Pinkprint Tour, for which Meek Mill is the opening act.
According to Jackson Riso, a data analyst and representative from TickPick, a marketplace site similar to Stubhub minus added fees, the site noticed an exaggerated, downward trend in ticket sale prices for the couple's tour.
Even more remarkable, the sharp drop appears to have coincided with Meek’s Twitter rant against the Canadian rapper and Drake’s subsequent diss tracks against the North Philly rapper.

On ticket marketplace websites, there’s usually a slight decline in prices as tour dates begin to dwindle. However, the sharp drop that appears around the time Drake released “Charged Up” and “Back to Back,” two diss tracks aimed at Meek, isn’t normal.

“The average ticket price for a Meek Mill [and] Nicki Minaj concert on July 20th was $179,” Riso said in an email. “By the time OVO Fest came around, that had fallen nearly 20 percent to $148.” OVO Fest is Drake’s annual music festival that takes place in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.
This year, the festival spanned two days, from Aug. 2nd to the 3rd.
Comparably, ticket prices for the Sam Smith tour, which has dates that coincide with the Pinkprint Tour, only fell about $10 during the same time period.

The good news, though, is that Meek’s misguided outspokenness didn’t deter his loyal, devoted hometown-area fans.

Before the rapper and his more famous girlfriend rocked Camden’s Susquehanna Bank Center on Thursday, Aug. 6 (read our review here), ticket prices leapt sharply as fans scrambled to secure a spot. But following that performance, prices returned to lower numbers.
The other good news is... *ding-dong* the beef is dead.
In a since-deleted Instagram message posted Wednesday morning, Meek wrote a lengthy message saying he was "not entertaining no rap/real beef over drake..."
Bold words from someone who started the battle and lost the war.
