roof top much better. the roof top battles had a great feel, it was mostly battle rappers up there so you don't have to worry about someone stumbling or choking and having fans boo the shyt outta you
Rookies vs Vets proved that if you can market the card, the names aren't as quite as important.
Daylyt is in Writers Bloque, chances are his first URL battle will be someone in NWX, probably Big T. B Magic v K Shine. DNA is going to battle Big Kannon at some point, so just throw that on the card. The Saga v Chilla makes the most sense from a marketing standpoint, even though Oops vs The Saga could be REALLY interesting if promoted right.
If it's the first time we're seeing Daylyt on URL then it's enough to sell a card imo.
In a room of 300+ NWX will wash WB. Small 200-ish setting and WB will wash them. It's really about the setting. I'd like to see them stretch this out across a few cards so no crew has a distinct advantage, and a few leagues can eat just not Smack.
i wouldn't expect a single battle to happen on URL honestly, except maybe DNA/Big Kannon. Everything else RBE, KOTD and Don't Flop
That was the best setting but it hasn't been used in so long they're not going back there. A crowd of 10-15 with honest reactions and no hype men... I'd pay if they did a ppv.
That would ruin everything. It needs to happen on an NWX vs WB card with no other battles. Spreading it out takes away the excitement.
You do realize if you stretch it out over a few cards, DNA will end up with 6 new battles in the next couple months right? You sure you want that?
He's already planning on battling two people in Writers Bloque (40 Bars & Big Kannon). Eventually he will say yes to Daylyt, so that's 3. I could definitely see him giving the new and improved Danja Zone a shot, so that's 4. He also hasn't battled Danny Myers or JC yet, and their names are just big enough for him to accept.
So now DNA ends up having at least 6 more battles in 2015. That's not even counting the 2 on 2's. And because this was your idea, I'm going to make sure we all hold you accountable for this...

Because KOTD matchmaking is primarily black url guy vs white kotd guy. He wouldn't put out a primarily all black card like this.
Saga is a url contract guy too right? Rains loyalty ? thats a roadblock
You cant really say that because rookies vs vets still had the usual suspects, Clips,Verb,Shine. You would be asking url to make one of the dudes in these crews a headliner and DNA is the biggest name then after is B-magic and they battled already. Then comes chilla and him and DNA battled already so who do they sell as the headlining match to the average fan?

I don't think Organik has a problem putting together a black card. He's just never had the opportunity to do so. This would be a unique event because it's crew vs crew and not a bunch of random individual match ups. Money wise he could get it done. A venue would be the only issue. He doesn't have a Black Star/ small room.
URL doesn't book a lot of WB and they can't keep Shine or DNA off other leagues so Saga is the only issue. They don't care about Rain. Norbes catching feelings shouldn't stop this. Set it up or let it go elsewhere.

He hasn't really proven anything in the music industry. And the beats are cool, but he doesn't have any industry placements that we know of. So what is he known for, really? The promo Rain gets on the Smack channel would be a lot more meaningful if URL fans truly respected him. He's actually seen as a nuisance to some fans, a good battle can change all of that.
