Gotta give Spud his credit. He called Clips' "exclusive contract" as bullshyt from JUMP.
?
Those are Chilla's battles

Probably because Hollow is WACK as fukk. People complain about Clips but Hollow was trash that battle too.

Hollow first 2 round was fire, nikka not everyone is Nuborn or Chilla. Smack not booking Hollow cause he wack but still book DNA and Serius every card.

Dont be an idiot... You know Hollow isn't cheap to book. Hollow performances aren't worth his price tag.
If you aren't Hollow, Mook or Lux, you aren't selling a card by yourself.

Yet Hollow aint worth the price?
Just take this L and fall back breh![]()
Jag's track was just on a different level then the others. The Math track just give you that real feel. Big K and Gist definitely had bars. Props to Gist for being a real dude and admitting Jag shyt was better.Yeah it's dope idea. The way they did it made me analyze what I liked and didn't like about each track.
Bigg K's bars were stupid, but the actual beat he rapped on didn't do much for me. I don't know if that reflects his taste in beats, or if it's just that particular beat I didn't like. That Bigg K/Hanz joint will probably be ridiculous.
The vibe of the Math track was ill. Initially I though the hook was kinda gay (I'm an old head) but it really clicks with the song and it stuck in my head afterwards. The beat was really hypnotic.
Gist's freestyles had wild bars, and Jag's track may have been the best put together out of all of them.

For starters, DNA & Serius put together probably cost less than Hollow.
Two, Hollow hasn't been much of a crowd pleaser as of late. He impresses the hardcore battling fanatics because we pay close attention to what he's doing. But I don't know if he grabs the casual fan's attention like that.
Now that brings us to Smack, and the two guys you just named. Somewhat similar skill sets as Hollow, but both are primarily focused on capturing the casual fans attention, while Hollow will take "being clever & witty" over "something that sounds really good" every time. Which battling style do you think Smack personally prefers?
Also, Hollow doesn't play all that buddy buddy shyt. He's about his business.

Casual fans don't give a fukk about Serius Jones though. He battles once a year & nobody cares. DNA at least has a strong social media following.Smack booking DNA & Serius over Hollow is him saying
I know the artform is cool to you hardcore fans and all that, but these casual fans man
I Gotta give em what they want man, we gotta get this paper man.
Instead of letting the culture grow organically by stayin true to the artform, this paper is for the culture nahmsayin.
Remember when the golden era slipped thru our hands right in front of us?
Remember lookin back like damn, how did we let "the system/machine" turn the golden era into what we have now on the radio?
Well it's happening in front of our eyes
Always please your core audience first, and let the casual listener come to you
