What "quality" wins does Surf have?
At no point was Surf ever better at Math in anytghing battlerap related. Two totally different levels of lyricism. Surf would die a horrible death if he ever battled Math, that's why the battle has never happened.

He will go down as one of the greats fom the dvd era either way and he can ride off in the sunset with that if he wants, but to be ranked in this era he does need to battle a newer guy

The DVD era is the reason Smack/URL is here now. Mook, and to a slightly less extent Rex, made battle rap what it is now. I remember people ripping and uploading Smack DVD's and all everyone wanted to know is if Mook or Rex had a battle on it. Mook was that nikka and I'm sure everyone who ever touched a URL stage was influenced by him. Everyone wanted to battle him.

It's revisionist history to act like he wasn't battling the top dogs. Lux got known off of battling him. Jones had just killed Jin. Who else was there for him to face? He tried to get Cassidy.

Mook's the godfather whether he takes on someone from this era or not. In an all time ranking of probably put him first. It's the same with Lux. Even with a small resume the Miles and Calico battles had an impact that all the new guys don't have.

To be honest both of them was mediocre until Math 3rd rd. Both Math and Rex had alot of cringe worthy moments in the 1st two rds

At their best, Math is better than Surf. Hoffa has shown he can put together rounds that lift souls. I can't say Surf has done that yet
