Folks are anticipating next Math battle on URL but him cancelling so many battles hurt him really bad.
Pretty much. They both said that's what it's looking like.
Math would do alot of these nikkas dirty because he got bars and angles. Math only problem is he rarely has haymakers.
Yeah but goodz ? Goodz is good for one rounders only at this point. he dont have enough bars to win off swag alone anymore. Math just came off a war with Chilla. But Surf knows he can clown goodz on caring more about fashion and swag. Surf cant use any of his gangsta shyt on math. He cant use his hitman holla shyt vs Math. It would look stupid.

Surf & Goodz are both more popular than Math. That's really all this is about. Math is not as big of a draw as his fans think he is, that's why it seems like his fans can never understand why he doesn't get the looks they think he should get.
Math is in that Head Ice, Big T, Cortez, Chilla Jones, B-Magic tier of popularity. Summer Madness is a blessing for those nyggas, not an expectation. And truthfully that's where he was when he battled Serius. Pretty much all the URL mainstays that you guys complain about are more popular than him.
I don't know. I believe Math is more popular than the guys you named, but not as popular as some of the other guys. Regardless I get your point.
I dont know about Goodz being more popular either. However, what Goodz has going for him is he attempts to make every battle he does a big battle because he battles infrequently.

In no shape or form Goodz is more popular then Math (outside of NY). Math been on a international tour in 2013 and battled all across the States. His name is much more known then Goodz name. Based on what is Goodz more popular? nikka doesn't bring anything to the table outside of 'swag' and sweaty armpits.

Goodz has two 300k battles on RBE. The only other battle over 300k on RBE is Daylyt v Oops, and that went viral.
I think he's a little more popular, but even if he isn't, as you've alluded to Goodz manages his battle career better. When you add in the fact that Goodz helped put Surf on, you can see why Surf thinks battling Goodz is a bigger look. Math literally came out of nowhere with his Surf challenge, they didn't have any animosity previous to that. Math figured "I can get my name hot on URL again off of one battle if I get Surf", so he went after Surf. I guess he just thought Surf was too dumb to catch on.
It's not even about my opinion really. What I feel is irrelevant to Surf, just look at the views. Being a little less popular than Goodz doesn't make Math unpopular, he's still popular. It just gives guys like Surf a reason to not care about battling him. It's why there can't be any discussion about Math vs Mook until Math's name gets hot again. It's why Math has gone on record stating that he wanted to battle Cassidy AND Canibus years ago, but Dizaster actually ended up battling them both. The majority of Math's opponents have bigger views with other people. His battles with Shotty & Pat Stay are very underwhelming, he dropped the ball majorly both times.
Let's not forget Math started as the Golden Boy of URL, and was managed by a member of URL's staff. That's why his return is so celebrated. He was receiving preferential treatment up until he lost to Calicoe, that's a fact. The one time that I've been to the URL offices, Math was there, along with Mickey Factz. You could tell they were in the loop of things that they didn't necessarily need to know, especially Math, since he's a battler. Mickey is a Yenta but at least he was helping with getting the whole Proving Grounds concept off the ground.
He still has a bright future though. His music is getting really good, I bump the last four songs he's dropped. He is respected, and has connections with successful recording artists. He can do great things in battle rap again if he humbles himself a little, and puts on some great performances. Time will tell, he just can't be impatient.
