I don't get it. All these "bar for bar" dudes see what happened to JC. You can't have less talent and less patience than he did, and still expect good long term results. Some forget that there was a time when JC had won at least 10+ rounds straight, none of these guys are on that level, yet they want to take a bunch of $300 battles before their PG even drops.
Maybe Trez thinks the Writers Bloque circle jerk will get his name where it needs to be. It's possible, these WB vs WB battles could be completely planned out & scripted for all we know.
Unfortunately Trez he already battled Daylyt & B Magic, so he already received his Writers Bloque stimulus package.

Writers Bloque is a group of its own
Daylyt compared it to superheroes saving battlerap.
Basically if you're in writers bloque you know get great battles because they help each other get good looks to come up
So basically Bloque vs Bloque = great/classic battle (saving battlerap)
They also help eachother to make moves outside of battlerap
Danny said they spar and critique each other with group calls, no ghostwriting shyt.
That's how they get better
That's one of the reasons Xcel fukked up by joining TeamHomi & shoulda joined Writer's Bloque instead.
Danja was on AFR last week and said he was sparring w/ WB member and they all folded when he spit his 2nd for Lotta Zay. NOBODY in WB wanted any parts of those rounds lol
They explained a lot on the radio shows that wanted to know the details on why they formed WB
Gotta remember that Writers Bloque didn't exist when Xcel got down with Team Homi. And lowkey the only thing Team Homi doesn't do is help their members get better. They seem to be the most respected squad as far as their real life interpersonal relationships. People say they move like a real family. They just aren't critiquing another nearly enough. And they won't battle each other, which might cut into their bread.
The impression I've gotten is that WB is about bars, whereas for Team Homi, battlerap is just another thing they do.
True. WB cares more about bars, but Writers Bloque is really some secret battle rap world domination shyt. They already have the power to manipulate any battle rap card outside of big KOTD & URL cards by battling each other.
Danja Zone just main evented a KOTD card, and it was his 1st time on the platform. Why? Because he was battling his WB comrade Daylyt. Daylyt lost badly, but ultimately that battle was meaningless to his career. Now Danja's profile received a boost.
Meanwhile, Born was offered a KOTD Ground Zero battle, and Xcel has been offered (and accepted) a Ground Zero battle.
Daylyt gave Danja the stimulus package over on KOTD, Daylyt gave Ooops the stimulus on RBE, B Magic gave Trez the stimulus on SDH...
There are two WB vs WB battles on this upcoming big RBE card, and another WB guy (Ooops) is battling Born, who will eventually battle every member of Writers Bloque unless he falls off.
5 Members of Writers Bloque on an NYC RBE card, not one of the 5 is from NYC. There is only one member of Team Homi on the card, even though they have some local clout in the battle rap world. Unless I'm mistaken there is only one "We Go Hard" guy on the card, although they do numbers locally.
Danny Myers & Chilla Jones are back in URL's good graces, possibly Danja Zone too if Danny vs Danja was really a great battle. If Daylyt shows out at SM, don't be shocked if they somehow pull Ooops into the mix over at URL.
