They were dead set against PPV at the time. They are doing PPV now. So there's no "salary cap" anymore. Besides, this money wouldn't be coming from URL anyway, it's all about sponsors stepping up.

As far as PPVs, after we've see Mook/Hollow, Mook/Surf, Mook vs. 3 other top tiers.........I can't see anybody giving a fukk about a PPV with Mook vs. a PG, let alone five of them. That's a financial loss waiting to happen.

If the sponsors are pouring in then that's a different story, I didn't see that mentioned in the tweets I read.

it has to be recognized that every battle Mook takes is an opportunity for him to lose prestige. In no way do I consider him the best battler today but he has earned a certain stature through winning and also his own marketing of his image. So perhaps he doesn't really want to battle unless it's worth possibly getting smoked and losing the mystique. Everyone else battles enough that even a clear 3-0 loss wouldn't change much.

Real battle rap fans recognize Mook's legacy in the culture but we also don't care to see him battle again & recognize his flawed opponent selection..He's like battle rap's Joe Calzaghe..Yea you beat some HOF names on your resume but the fans still have a towards you
