You could argue that Con is the most successfull battlerapper too. He is popular as a battlerapper actually battling on Wildn Out. No one knows about any Con music.

Roc and Hollow have done promo, but your concern is valid regardless. I expected Shine/Hitman to go in on each other when the battle was announce smh. The lack of promo is sad.

I don't think anybody (outside of the one dude) was really arguing against Conceited being the most popular battle rap. When the word "famous" was being thrown around, I was just saying how big of a deal is that really, tallest midget shyt.

After these two it went downhill as the people weren't getting the big matchups for the whole card.

What's the lineups for this Summer Madness? Summer has even gone...imagine

Loaded Lux & Arsonal, two of the biggest names in battle rap history, just headlined a card that drew 29 people to the event

It's not being cheap, it's called business. People are content staying home to complain and bootleg rather than buy tickets, so makes no sense trying to spend top dollar on promo and out of towners. Cater to your core group and make your money.

Bootlegs have always been there. But now that they're offering PPV, you have people in that core group that saying fukk spending hundreds of dollars and standing up for 7-8 hrs....and would rather just support by spending the 25-40 bucks for the live stream and call it a day.

You need to give the ppl that extra motivation to say "yea I'm trying to be in the building when this shyt go down", having the battlers talk they shyt to build up the matchup helps with that. Names alone don't sell events anymore, Alpha/Omega & Double Impact 2 proved that.

Got it. Yeah it's not like being an elite athlete or rapper but if let's say Conceited and maybe a C level athlete are in the same club, I could see women and the DJ giving Conceited more, or at least equal, love.
