Only thing Mook the greatest in is hyping himself up. None of the actual fans or battle rappers buy that shyt but industry nikkas convinced he is for some reason (nostalgia?).

Not to sound like a hater but battle rap has changed a lot in the last few years. If Mook was to stand on SM6 with the same performance vs Iron I'm dead ass convinced he would get booed tf off stage. Nikkas aint have the patience anymore.

I litteraly don't get this Mook is the greatest talk AT ALL

Son is mt Rushmore, but the greatest? Man GTFOH

Then Joe wanna turn around and use him being "outside" of battlerap like that's a new accomplishment.

I finished listening it seemed like they were having different debates

Joe's Mook debate was that he's the Greatest, which is different from the best. Dre and Big T were caught up in greatest. I agree Mook is the greatest. He's the Hov of battle rap. He's not necessarily the best battle rapper skill set wise but if you account for everything he's number 1. I've stated this before, I feel fans put way too much emphasis on amount of battles you take. Just because you have 50 battles doesn't mean you "deserve" someone of a high stature or that you deserve more credit than others who battle less frequently. That just means you don't have a job.

Also the DNA debate was about skill level rather than battle rap ability, and I think Dre and Big T harped on the fact DNA is hard to beat. Once they balked at Clips> DNA, I knew the discussion wasn't gonna last long. I think DNA is a much better battler than rapper. He's not a good rapper to me. He's a very generic punchline rapper. Lux is a rapper. JC is a rapper. Brizz is a rapper. Verb is a rapper. Yung Ill was a rapper.

As for JC, please drop some freestyles, songs, cyphers, or something illustrating he is more than a battle rapper. I've only heard the JC rap once on beat and it was nothing but struggle. I may be wrong, but from my point of view, JC is just a battle rapper.

The crazy thing about it is that Mook vs Lux 2 is the battle really determined who would be viewed as "the greatest."

I really don't believe that Joe/Mickey would have shared that opinion if he lost that battle.

Man, as much self etherous type of info Hitman puts out to the public, its crazy how no battler that he's faced has really talked to his soul. There are so many family related angles that battlers could go at Hitman with.

We know Verbs infamous 3rd round vs Hitman, Suge touched on Hitmans relationship with his son and new girlfriend angle a little bit. But the Showout angle could really be exposed if someone went in the right way

I'm not really trying to hear this "overall rapper" shyt coming from these guys. I personally think the whole "overall rapper" shyt is just a low key slick way of shytting on battle rappers. I get what You mean but it actually does bother me when I hear battlers that literally don't care about rhyming and just punch with no rhythm. I've always been partial to guys that actually rhymes.
