Now that you mention it, everybody Lux has faced in the URL era has come off a loss

Calicoe almost died against O-Red on UW
Hollow in many people's eyes lost to Surf (I feel like he won but it is what it is)
Clips clearly lost to Hollow
Ars got 30'd by Brizz

I think what you're seeing with JC is alot of people weren't really down with him calling out Lux in the first place. So at the first opportunity they're gonna push him to the back of the line.

DNA deserves the match-up way more than Verb or Daylyt.
I like the DNA match-up better than Lux battling Goodz or Diz.

JC needs to impress on a big stage, he has yet to do that. It's not a win or lose thing, he's just gotta keep 1000 people in tune with him for 3 rounds. He seems ready....

JC is not a top tier guy man. If he loses to Rum Nitty, the interest would momentarily die down. He needs some momentum going into the battle. Verb, who was a top tier guy, couldn't even land a battle with Lux.

What losing streak was Clips on going into the Lux battle? Please refresh my memory, because off the top of my head, he beat Rex, beat T-Top, loss to Hollow, beat Pass the following week. His losing streak pretty much began after the Hollow/Lux battles.
