And am i the only one that wants Rookies vs Vets 2??

Twork v Verb
Geechi v Suge
Glueazy v Big T
MIke P v O Red
Ryda v Cortez (since he been begging for it)

(I dont necessarily want to see these matchups just throwing shyt out there)

Twork and Mike p wouldn't make sense. Rvv was a platform to get guys to the stage. They've made it

Remyd is one of the most overlooked guy in battle rap this 3rd verse is legendary had Dubb in his feelings the whole way through 2012 was the greatest year of battle rap everybody was on their shyt very few people have that hunger or respect for their craft to even think to deliver performances like this.

Even with his recent poor performances i still would rather see Verb vs Lux over JC :yeshrug:. I feel like verb wouldn't disappoint, i feel he would prepare, give 3 rounds of Showtime and put up a good fight leaving with at least a round :lolbron:

I don't see how anyone jumps the line in front of JC at this point. His last test was to do what he does on a big stage, and he did that. If Verb had 3 good showings back to back he'd have no problem getting Lux now.

And I could have sworn Joe Budden didn't even say it was dead. Someone else on his podcast said it and he went into his explanation of what he knew. I think we're too used to Joe getting into some shyt with someone that its automatic that nikkas go at him.

Btw, anyone else think Tay Roc got that "Buckle up" line from the Tori doe "Remote doesn't work" haymaker? I don't care either way because it's my favorite line of the year.
I don't know, it's possible, but outside of guys just blatantly taking full lines or full performances from other battlers, I'm hesitant to say someone just outright bit something. But these are writers/artists, you're going to see/hear someone say something and it's going to spark an idea in your head. It's definitely possible he heard that and came up with the seatbuckle shyt.

I think if Verb battled Lux it would be similar to what happened with Arsonal, he would give the best performance he's given in eons.

id rather see verb vs lux than jc vs lux tbh..not interested in jc's style vs lux rather than a hungry verb

Yeah 2012 was hands down the best year in battlerap. Its like what '96 (Some would say '94) was for Hip Hop. You were getting great battles from everywhere.
