Aight I finally got thru all of the battles on SM6. My PPV screwed up and I really only got to see 2 1/2 of the battles live.
JC vs. Rum Nitty - Replay value and solid on the both ends. I give it to JC either 2-1 or 3-0. With no body. I think this may be a battle fans will revisit for bars and see if it stands that a majority of the fans think JC won. Great start to the whole event.
Ave vs. T Top - It feels like as much of a rapid fire flow and good punches that Ave has, T Top was on him deflecting a lot by being very well rounded in other area. Like he had some jokes that landed, well done angles (even on the stealin), and some nice haymakers each round. I can say 2-1 or 3-0 T Top pretty clear for me.
Hitman Holla vs. K-Shine - I caught this battle and rewatched it. I feel like I should say 6-0 Hitman, lol. Not only did I have Hitman either taking or edging each round but I even was adding on how Shine messed himself up in three ways. (1) Complaining about the time limits, (2) battling the day before one of the biggest (or the biggest) battle event of the year, and (3) sounding somewhat like your crew members. But I'll keep it a stack, I have Hitman 2-1 or more than likely 3-0. Hitman didn't even have to remix. And his 2nd round more than likely was the best round out of this whole battle. Shine had some bars and his performance but in his 2nd I could see DNA's influence and in his 3rd, he was definitely doing like Big T.
Calicoe vs. Brizz Rawsteen - Didn't live up to the hype and the messed up mics didn't really help out. Especially for Brizz. Now, my problem with Calicoe was he kept trying to play mind games during the battle with Brizz to help throw him off his game. So, obvious Calicoe took the 1st with Brizz upset with his mic issue. Chowed in his round. Now the 2nd, Brizz was getting more into his bag and hit Calicoe with some nice haymakers while Calicoe was still trying to play mind games but realized Brizz was catching up. His "reasons" line was written nice but that high note wasn't a good look. Third round, Brizz got it by ending his round right, imo. Cal started off to slow to cook and got there by the end of his round. So, its a debatable 2-1 win for Brizz.
Tay Roc vs. Hollow Da Don - Lived up to the hype and dope on both ends. I think it showed how actually direct and well rounded Tay Roc can be against any opponent again. Hollow did what he does best which is be Hollow. This could go maybe 2-1 Hollow but I could see someone debating Tay got it. This was a classic battle with some great lines within it. Personals, jokes, gun bars, schemes, performance.....everything you'd want out of a top tier battle.
