One of the better mixtapes i've heard from a battle rapper

I still have a few songs off of here in rotation. It was just too late for him to pop with that sound. From what I last heard he switched his style on tracks up ALOT, you can tell he still wants to get on cause he sounds trendy. Sad that he had to abandon his more lyrical side.

nikkas have no idea how big this is for battlerap

Remember URL in 2012? Mickey Factz was a crucial part of URL's staff

We saw what happened when he left right after that

This is dope, and will renew my fading interest in battle rap. Mickey's criticism on URL's recruitment is the same criticism I had. They became too regional and got lazy.

I know a few people disagreed with me, but I'm telling you it is very important to have new guys from different areas on your cards.

Those battles on the roof were fire though. Would love for that to come back.

We were just talking about this weeks ago.

There is no reason we shouldn't be seeing dope pg battles. In a lot of ways, they should actually be better than top tier battles, just because they are set in an environment more suited for battle rap. They don't have to worry about creating material for thousands of people.

This is the revamp that they needed. Maybe this should bring some prestige back to getting on the URL. Nowadays, I feel like anybody can get on the channel.

It's going to cost like $500 to get in that small room lol

I've already stated if this battle happens, it's because Lux wants it to happen. This battle going down means that Lux is so passionate about the battle, that he is willing to take a paycut.

I'm interested if he has some plan he's proposing to the URL how this can get done, because one could view suggesting a small room as a slick way of pricing themselves out of the battle. Hell, even if it's in a large room, the URL would think long and hard about paying Lux to battle anybody period.

Beasley just said in an interview Lux approached him about some battle prior to the Arsonal battle that he passed on, because Lux is too expensive.

Has Beasley even talked about Lux vs JC? That's the guy we need to hear from. Norbes desire to see the battle doesn't really matter.

Those rooftop battles was Mickey Factz' concept.

During his time at URL shyt was a lot more authentic.

Just compare those rooftop battles where nikkas could get they bars off with complimentary crowdreaction
Or the current PG battles where they get gassed every 4 bars.

It's a difference, Mickey came from the DVD era. He was active during that time.

Yeah I know, I heard the interview on AFM where Mickey explained his role in URL back then. He criticized Norbes and got him in his feelings :mjlol:

Speaking of Norbes. Its no surprise that BattleRap Arena and War Report fell through when he was involved :mjlol:

Also doesnt help that AFM came through and crushed the buildings

He need to keep doing it because it was fire
That freestyle session with Sway should be a reminder how ill of a rapper Big T really is

How he puts his rhymes together is just so cold and unorthodox.

Lux, Verb, Ill and Big T specifically were the ones that rapped unorthodox out of the 4bar format structure.

Them nikkas were so cold in the golden era if you really are into breaking down the technical aspects of rhyming

It's THEM nikkas back then Joe Budden & Mickey Factz were talkin about being scared of at one point

Most of them simply fell off by not caring and being stuck in the current 4bar set up era

I remember having a conversation with a Mickey Factz about rhymin and the shyt was one of the most fun conversations I've ever had.
The nikka is dope as fukk to go back and forth with on some rap shyt cause agree or disagree he is a HipHop head.

We both agreed these new battlerap nikkas ain't rappers forreal.
Yeah they can come up with bars but most of em ain't rappers forreal-forreal
