I thought everyone recognized surf as a debatable rapper. Suge, con, t top, hollow, roc, big t(to some not me), X factor, shyt even I felt shine beat him or made it debatable. He has a lot of debatable big battles. He has clear losses too though. Thought surf being a debatable nikka was the consensus. Just like Jc losing to top tiers is the consensus to most.
He did great in those battles but he had filler in the Timebomb battle. A lot actually. Chilla not so much (Some but nothing crazy). But the rounds were kinda short, which helped.Timebomb & Chilla would suggest otherwise

I have no idea how anyone thinks this is a clear win for JC. Yes JC is on a streak but like i said looked who he battled. A clear unfocused Chess. A good Chef Trez(which jc is 5x better then and even then Trez held his own.) And a very mediocre Nitty,
Yes these were "big stage" battles but JC still went against other pen dudes(other then chess who just completely dropped the ball)
What JC gonna do against a T-Top that gets on that stage and start taking over the crowd? Im far from the biggest t-top fan but he surprised the shyt out of me against Ave. And there are PLENTY of angels to take against JC. PLENTY.

That's what I'm sayin'. I have yet to see him do that.
I'll say it again: Surf needs to get thru his rounds. Period. No more excuses. No "he rebuttals sometimes", no "he is so popular", no "oh he gets x amount of views", and etc. can the fact he has shyt the bed more than a few times in his battles. JC may have taken some losses but he gets better with his rounds, never had a ghostwriter controversy, and has improved a whole lot. I mean, the game tapes are there.

I think more so it's not that JC has a clear win, it's that Surf has a lot to prove when he comes back. Surf gotta be like how he was with Hitman, Brixx, Con, and maybe even his first 2 rounds against X-Factor. The version of Surf against Calicoe, Big T, Tay Roc, Suge, Clips, Verb, and a few others show a consistent lack of follow thru for the whole battle. His 1st round will be cool then his 2nd and 3rd rounds pretty much show he is getting closer to a moment where he'll be like "jersey" and end the battle. He has to stop doing that. I've got other problems with his Surf like his projection sometimes and his schemes that reach but yeah, he gotta take care of that.

some debatable, some 2-1 losses, but he rarely gets washed...and these were big stage battles, the hardest platform to master, yall actin like he's Oops or something just walking around being a crash dummy his entire career. JC wouldnt have gotten put in a bag by the Big T/Shine/Yung ill that battled Surf? We woulda never seen JC again if he had to go through those rounds
JC only has a handful of battles where his oppenent was snapping, and he lost most of em. Everyone else just laid down in the bodybag without putting up a fight. He's way better now but he still hasn't passed the Vet test (and don't reference a 1 rounder vs. Clips
