Imagine DMX back then BARKING at you and ordering his pit to growl at you mid-battle :wow:

nikkas said DMX was a savage on the battle scene

lmao I might've quit battlin, esp if that was caught on camera. No way would I have been able to live that down :russ:

That's how you know Rex was a real competitor. After that he tried to kill everything in sight.

I WAS TOO HIGH TO CHANGE THE BATTLE BUT THIS nikkaS THIRD WAS CRAZY.

THAT nikka SAID "I WATCHED PHARA MURDER YOU AND I WAS HORRIFIED/ HOW YOU LET A FUNERAL MOTHER YOU AFTER YOUR MOTHER DIED" :damn:

Dude really took it there and he said it to someone who seems to be his FRIEND. The first round wasn't too crazy, but in the 2nd and 3rd he just started going Charles HAMilton on that broad. Yeah I wish I could just delete all his homosexuality references, but I enjoy hearing/watching people get picked apart like that.

Flyking I was gonna do Daylyt BAD with all the angles that he has, Day is probably too shook to battle someone with more shock value than him.

Imagine DMX back then BARKING at you and ordering his pit next to him to growl at you mid-battle :wow:

nikkas said DMX was a savage on the battle scene

His delivery is tailored made for haymakers. He can perform. He's intense, with authentic aggression. He has slogans & catch phrases. AND technically, he had props (his dogs).
DMX had to be fukking nyggas up back in the day.

"PROTECTED BY VIPER, STAND BACK" Those are battle bars. That would get a Supa Hot Fire type reaction in any hood across USA in the late 90's. You know he ending a couple aspiring rap careers with those bars, and he threw them in a song.

If DMX did what he did to Rex on the big stage the building would've erupted :wow:

Have you heard rex explain the story? It doesn't even sound like a real battle.

I believe he just tells this story to say "hey i battles dmx."

Well because it was probably because he got bodied within a few bars. :russ: Rex said he didn't even want to continue.

It's like running up on someone waaay out of your league and getting sonned early, and realizing you're in way over your head.

Nah he was just in the background behind Eminem with Royce, Conway, Westside, Kid Vicious and couple others

Eminem's freestyle content was dope (He killed Donald Trump) but rhyming was kinda ehh. He kinda sounded like a URL PG with some of the stretch wordplay lol
He's been doing stretch wordplay since like Recovery, but I'm willing to bet he watches more current battles than he listens to new mainstream rappers so I do feel like it probably does influence his writing lol, anyway I liked it, but he definitely has lines where he is just saying something to extend the multi lol

True.

It's also like battling a crazy nygga with a pack of big stinky pits that only listen to him. I feel like Rex had to actually worry about the dogs TOO... what if Rex says his hottest verse after that? And DMX tries to implement the dogs AGAIN in his next round?
If one of those dogs tore a patch outta his Gino Green jeans I'm sure everyone in attendance would fall out laughing, and Rex probably would have been over.

Unless Rex just happened to have a parrot that he trained to jump in at the right time and call you a bytch it's hard to rebuttal that

Bedafi Green brought up a good point, NY is at the bottom of battle rap like mainstream rap. Not in terms of talent but in terms of who gets attention.
I peeped that during the AFR too

It's litteraly like mainstream hiphop

You got SnakeEyez puttin in work but son ain't gettin any looks

Meanwhile Chess keeps losing and gettin undeserved plates with the outta towners

Let (NY) nikkas that are actually winning eat too. Shyt is backwards as hell
