I just watched a promo and Usher is in one of the battles. That dude wouldn't dare step foot near any type of real battle right now.

Gwitty would body any of them God forbid they stand in front any of our elites.

This is kinda frustrating to be honest, like we know that what they're showing isn't anywhere close to what we watch. but at the same time real battlerap might be too much for TV, unless it's HBO or something.

so that guy james cordon or whatever executive produces this... something they were doing on his late night show.

similar to how they had lip sync battle on fallon, and he EP's it for Spike.

as far as this show, i've only seen the promo's, but if i had to guess i would say they have someone in the battle rap world, or at least battle rap adjacent who is writing these battles.

havent heard any of the current crop of battlers say they are getting a check from tbs, but i'm thinking they had to sign something.

definitely not a technical good look for battle rap, but if some of these dudes are getting checks behind it, im sure they're good with it

I really really really like this RBE card coming up

Was considering going but

1) VIP tickets are already sold out (not sure if I can do GA)
2) Its the same day as UFC 217 which is a cant miss for me
3) My buddy who I go to events with is working that day

So alas I won't be going but that card is dumb nice. Well worth $75 for VIP tix in my opinion

That red vs Bigg K trailer had me re-watching Red vs Oops and he lowkey murdered Oops even though that doesnt count for much. Red been killing on RBE.

He lasted longer than most punchers not names magic to be honest. But at least he has the stage presence and versatility to spice things up. Like in the JC battle

He took punching back to back like that for granted. Its like that shyt works but sometimes if you don't do something else that can add to your arsenal, it'll make it look like that's all you can do. That's why when he uses angles, rebuttals, and flips jokes a certain way, he is dangerous. He could have used a good angle or two against Pass but he obviously didn't care and his 3rd about what KOTD is doing now in his Pat Stay battle almost says he feels a way about being on there with the changes they have coming up. I dunno. Just seems like he did hit a bump in the road.

I won't front, I am glad Pass got a win after the Brizz and Money Bagz battles.
