I think chess is going to kill Trez like everyone else on URL seems to do besides mike p. All the people Trez battle seem to have a level up that they can reach that he just can’t compete with. Chess 1st vs roc is easily better than anything I’ve ever heard Trez spit and I liked him on spitdatheatHe sounds really regular against certain people.

Chess has to get through his rounds cleanly for him to be a comfortable pick against anyone.

The url has been a grind in 2017. Notice how all these guys are beating up on each other.

It’s dope because it’s survival of the fittest. Guys like chess and chef just trying to hang in there. Jc taking a bad loss. Rum nitty taking a loss but bouncing back strong against dna. Ill Will bounced back against Suge after getting his ass kicked by njt. Njt trying to bounce back. Ave hanging in there after getting his ass kicked by top.

ANY guy can beat the other on any given night the way these guys are thrown against each other on back to back cards.

I am curious how a bdot would do having to face guys like nitty,jc, etc back to back. He would take some losses, maybe even a loss against someone you wouldn’t expect. I’m telling you, he’s going to get the best version of his opponents.

I saw an interview with jimz at work and how he was talking about how he’s above a pg. I just kept thinking yeah you are an okay little battle rapper, but that url grind of back to back to back cards facing ave, ill will, Suge, chess, etc. Jimz wouldn’t survive that man. He has a good thing going with rbe/kotd where he gets good looks with plenty of prep time. He would also have to survive the pg.

Chess will be fine. Its Trez who needs this more. He got 3-0'd by Ryda (soneone he shouldn't have battled in the first place) on top of getting 3-0'd by Rum and JC (which really dont matter because he was bound to lose those, but Chess arguably beat Rum). And believe it or not his 1sr round vs Roc is the reason why people still hope for him.

Nah, it's not about what he "deserves" or even wins/losses or favors with this dude Chess. His potential is just OBVIOUS, so Smack and them are going to do everything possible to let him fulfill it, and if he ends up never getting there, it's still worth the effort. Chess is like a #1 draft pick quarterback; even if he's garbage those first three years you're not going to give up on the experiment completely. Chess is going to have to basically force URL to never give him a plate again.
