Wordplay for days

I never thought I see the day Mook & wordplay mesh together with some sort of praise, especially off "you are more hippo...." nvm.

Mickey and Chilla def lended helping hands, it's no way to convince me otherwise.

I kinda give Math & Jaz a pass on their Mierda Mook love. They both say a lot of unexciting, but technically clever material. Comedy Central type nikkas. I fall into that box too sometimes, but I stopped giving myself credit for stuff no one else catches. What's the point? Get over yourself, it's not that the material is so smart that people don't catch it. It doesn't satisfy the other requirements we have for people who rhyme words together. Mook's enunciation and projection are A+, but his rapping voice will never be anything above average. T-Top beats people with even more basic sounding material than Mook, because his voice really stands out. Lux usually sounds good enough rapping that it doesn't feel like a chore listening the 3rd of 4th time.

jaz herself isnt crazy to me and i think its for this reason, yeah she says clever shyt but outside the 40 barz battle she never went ham to me and the funny thing she says all the time that was her worst lyrical battle. its like wayne brady, hes clever but hes not hysterically funny. but even having said that Mook didnt even do this style that great in this battle.Like Chilla was much better vs DNA but a lot of people had him losing. Is Mook Daylt all of a sudden with these long ass random schemes? and OBC on serious jones level with the scheming, with reaching on surfs level.

Champion’s Mook/Verb debate is actually jarring to watch if you’ve seen the battle. Mook’s bars didn’t deserve 50 minutes of breakdown when pretty much all of it is easy to catch on first listen. Jaz trying to explain that cereal bar made me cringe.

Anyway, the general consensus is that Verb won clearly so at least people aren’t falling for the bias.
