It would be a bad look if he got destroyed in this one. This isn’t a typical small league battle that will get no coverage.
Champion was paid for their services, and I’m quite sure they will do a full recap of the entire event.
That's my thing, it's never that I hated Mook or that he didn't have his moments in the Verb battle, but there are chinks in his armor and we discuss everybody's flaws, Roc has one clear consensus loss in recent memory and you see more people question him, I say that to say, anybody can get it, from the pgs to Surf everyone has been clowned for reaches, consensus had Mook winning the last couple battles before clearly because he was more direct and to the point and now Mook stand act like you can't do that for Verb, I respect the ogs legacies that was my era initially really, but this we gotta give special treatment or we hating shyt needs to stop, the thing is nobody is above critique it's just funny the people that don't see that wanna call others bias when they are the ones that give passes to people they are nostalgic for and and are super critical otherwise lol

When the camera turns on JC, Danja, Twork, Marv, Quest, Mr Mills etc. All need to be front and center. This is 5-6 years in the making.

This is a small league. I have high doubts the camera work is going to be what it should.

I want to see twork/danja and born/chilla but i def dont want to sit through 6 nonsense battles.
Verb can beat Lux.
Lux vs Arsonal is damn near unwatchable imo. It's such a chore to watch. They were both garbage. You got Lux dressed up like a damn fool, spitting a bunch of jibberish. You got Arsonal who spit variations of the exact same round 3 times, with nothing but fake ass personals.

Having said that, I don’t think he would get that type of Lux. I believe in a grudge match type of situation, we are getting a very dangerous Lux.
If you put Lux in a situation where nothing is at stake, like let’s say a Daylyt battle, it would just be trash on both sides. You would have Daylyt spitting indirect rounds. Lux spitting a bunch of jibberish. It would be awful. Lux has to be matched properly.
We have to acknowledge that Verb beat a lot of the top tier guys. He beat Mook. He beat Hollow. He beat Surf and many others. He beat a lot of the top guys (consensus, whether you agree or not). He would show up against Lux.
Lux/Verb is like a 55/45 battle. I'll favor Lux because I believe he can take it somewhere else lyrically. It just seems people are dismissing Verb's chances.
Lux has to stay away from battles like Mook 2 & Arsonal. He was already too cool with both of these guys. We all seen how the product turned out.
Calicoe, Hollow, & Charlie were all entertaining battles. You had three guys that Lux didn't seem to care for at the time. Him & Charlie had more of a "we are cool, but not really" type of vibe, hence the tension as soon as they got on stage.

I don't think Lux was garbage, how you described Lux there is how I would describe Lux vs Mook. dressed up and spitting a whole bunch of nothing. I think Lux was good here, just doesn't compare to his Hollow/Cal/Clips battles.
Lux is one of the few guys I would say is one of my favorites to watch. I thought he was very boring, and I hope he doesn't select those type of battles going forward. He's always been cool with Arsonal, just as he was very cool with Mook.
He needs to stay away from battles that don't make sense.
I want him in a battle that brings back that "old" feeling, where the loser can't even sleep that night.

that is a really good point you brought up, no denying the difference in his performance when it comes to his relationship with who he battles
He wasn't cool with Cal or Hollow...and gave us two classics with them, apparently he was cool with Mook and you saw what happened. This time around I think that he's under some pressure though, the Ars battle had folks doubting him hence why he did the Funk Flex freestyle. I don't think he'll play with Verb at all, Verb just beat Mook so there is a lot on the line here
You do realize a consensus is an agreement right? A consensus is a general agreement. A general opinion holds just as much weight as a minority opinion. Because it's not a fact. I could go on forever but you seem like a smart dude so you should know where I'm going.
Gotta be honest brehs. Not sure how the full consensus became Holla with the clear win. shyt seemed mad even to me.
