This is really fukking dope. This black filmmaker made a short called BEL-AIR, which is a DRAMATIC reinterpretation of FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR. Will Smith saw it, and thought it was brilliant, and now he's backing the project. And it looks like they are going to try and make it into a TV series.

Fresh Prince is my all-time favorite sitcom so when I stumbled across this on YouTube, I was skeptical about the quality. But judging from the trailer, it looks like they put a lot of effort into it.
Will is a real one for shining a spotlight on this young brotha too. That’s big of him and what black public figures are supposed to be doing.
