I think its funny that people get so sensitive over AJ. Like her reign was some golden age. I can't remember a match from either of their reigns or careers that merited 5 star status.
Or feuds.

Well, by being so petty about the whole thing we've now been forced to sit through endless painful Bella matches and it's likely that if they had let that shyt skip, we'd actually would've seen some more variety in the divas division before this Divas Revolution angle started.

Any other year, I would begrudgingly give congrats. I may not like Nikki, but I recognize her improvement.
But this is too damn fishy and coincidental. You don't do this with Paige or Naomi? You do this with the embodiment of AJ fans' hatred and anger of what the division was reverting back to before the NXT callups.
And don't forget the timing. Like I mentioned, any other year, I give credit. But doing it not even less than half a year after AJ retired reeks of bitterness. Let's not forget that on the way out, AJ called Stephanie out on Twitter and Steph caught feelings till Vince intervened.
This is just like when Brock left in 04, and WWE immediately made Orton champ at SummerSlam to erase Brock's youngest world champion moniker from history.
This is all because WWE is salty about AJ walking on them to be with Punk full time, which is funny because A.) They fired her husband on their wedding day (which indirectly affected AJ, too) B.) Misdiagnosed a Staph Infection that could have KILLED HIM And C.) Got butthurt and and sued Punk when he called out their medical team on Colt's podcast.
I'm surprised AJ stayed as long as she did after all that shyt went down.

I don't think it's really about AJ, they just don't want Nikki to break the record, if it was someone else most people wouldn't have a problem with it... but honestly, the only match i remember AJ having was with Kaitlyn, that's how boring her career was.
Aj was one of the divas who got organically over and was able to do other angles without being horrible . She also seems like the template for all the new class of divas . She didn't need total divas to get over ( and this is from someone who found her nerdy aw shucks shtick so fake by the end ) Aj also did it during the time when divas weren't given a chance
