Speaking generally, Africa is home to alot of tonal languages with tough pronunciation curves for those who speak romance derived languages.

But having said that, i agree completely with your post :salute:

Do you have any advice or insight on which language is more phonetic, like easier to sound out from the writing lol.

My dream is to be like the brother Laoshu.

One of our old comedians speaking our patois



Traditional music,it sounds like an African dialect but is a mixture of English,West African dialects,Dutch, Spanish,French. A version is also spoken in Jamaica by the old Marrons which indicates that we share a common group of ancestors.
