Serious question -- why is the Texan's record so bad? By the numbers, they have one of the best offenses in the league in terms of yards per game.

Defense has been subpar so far this season. Last year they led the league in turnovers forced. Not getting turnovers/sacks or getting off the field on 3rd down. Also commit a lot of stupid penalties.
Offensively the QB rotation has fukked up any chance of consistency. Hoyer should of been given a longer leash he's way more accurate than mallet. Arian Foster is finally 100% healthy but his absence was felt the first month of the season. Deandre Hopkins is putting up all pro numbers at WR but outside of Arian he's our only offensive weapon. Our TEs are non existent and the offensive line has been banged up.

Maybe. I think she's mostly a baseball fan though. And of course, she roots for New York teams.

I'm not going to get excited. The true test is the Patriots and few other elite teams that the Dolphins are going to face. If we him beat them, then I could smile and say we may have a chance to make it to the playoffs.
Yeah, odds are we won't beat the Pats. We beat the Titans because Mariota was running for his life all game. We beat the Texans because we punished their terrible tackling. Only way we'll beat the Pats is if Lamar Miller takes over the game and our defense can contain their passing attack long enough to give us a chance.
On the bright side, their D isn't what it was last season. They're giving up decent yardage and points. It's just that nobody has been able to outduel Brady yet.
