That was Michelle Pheiffer as his wife.....? Wow. I caught the last 30 min or so, I may catch the rest tonight, or this week. De Niro put in the best performance I've seen of Madoff, which I guess I'm only comparing to Richard Dreyfuss in that ABC one a year or so ago. Aside from that, and a good production budget, it didn't seem overly captivating, Barry Levinson directed who has never been "great" imo, though I'll watch the the rest before I make final judgement.

Didn't see the movie, but lets not act like Madoff was Satan. He fed greedy people a baited hook and they took it. There are thousands of guys like this running around promising %10 returns at every economic level

Movie was lit deniro went in. his subtlety was genius. When he and michelle took all them pills, when his sons denied his bond, getting thise greedy fukks to sign up with him at the party, and snapping on his granddaughter are the goat moments in this flick
