For me, it would have to be the death of Det. Torres on New York Undercover. New York Undercover was my favorite show from the 90s. The theme song alone :blessed:

Lately I've been watching old episodes on youtube and the show is still amazing :yeslawd: While watching, I couldn't help but think about that fateful day in 1997 when the worst happened.

(go to 2:23) :sadbron: the next day at school no joke girls were crying (hilarious in retrospect :bryan:)

It takes months for the show to come back, and when it does it comes back like this :scusthov:

It wasn't the same without Eddie. Then they have the nerve to add two cac cops and Tommy. They took away all the elements that made the show so popular and added a bunch of rock and techno music. It lasted about half a season.

In your opinion, what is the worst jump the shark moment in tv history?

They ran that show into the ground. First mistake was Michael DeLorenzo trying to pull a "Friends" move and ask for more $. Now, you cant pull this kind of shyt on a dikk Wolf show when fukking Law & Order is on during the same era and bringing in tons of $$/viewers. The producers called his bluff and dude walked and they blew his character up (literally)

After that, they get rid of Natalies (when Eddie's pops OD'd, even tho he was gonna die of AIDS anyway) and so all of the music and live performances in the show are gone

Next, these fools bring in Tommy from "Martin" even tho we were all used to seeing Tommy act a fool on "Martin," a show that came on the SAME NIGHT as NY Undercover. Too hard to differentiate that character

Bringing MacNamarra on was a mistake and maybe an attempt to bring in more CACs to watch the show. WHen they brought in Morena people were already like :whoa: but she proved her worth and was a great addition. But MacNamarra just didnt fit with the rest of the cast.

Then they switch things up and put Moreno/Williams on this bullshyt rogue squad that Tommy was running and the shyt looked sloppy. It was almost as if they were revamping the whole damn thing like people wouldnt remember the previous seasons.

I was into Bones for a bit but then I threw this show into the bushes with the quickness after this:
