Not hardwork. The capabilities to build Wealth is made through innovations in technology which is often publicly funded like the Internet. It is a pity that tax dollars built the internet but only a handful of people are massively reaping the benefits of it and enriching themselves.

If you wasn't into the Transatlantic Slave trade in anyway or form, you was a broke motherfukker...

If you wasn't building factories during the Industrial Revolution, you was a broke motherfukker...

If you wasn't building railroads during the expansion out West, you was a broker motherfukker...

To be rich, to be wealthy under capitalism you must secure the means of production that creates goods and services everything else depends on...

Like right now...

If you wasn't leveraging the Internet to distribute goods and services during the 90s and early 2000s...you gonna be a broke boy...

And being Black...we don't have access to capital that Whites got, so we always gonna be left out...

My problem is; I don't get the problem.

I'm hard pressed to find anything to debate their talking points.

I'm not poor, either.

My own father is pretty close to one million in wealth.... my own father is almost a damn one percenter and thought he has a great life (finance wise) it isn't something grand or crazy.

I went to college (Criminal Justice), too. And I'm still dealing with issues moving in the private sector.

I can only get gov't jobs.

So, I'm apart of the class of millenials who are being carried by baby boomers.

It should alarm us that there isn't a class of upwardly mobile young black families. And I said class; 400,000 is hardly a "class."

I don't know any other way to look at it. I've tried.

the problem here is a lack of info. 1how do you know that is a accurate reflection of our current institution?2 marcus garvey already prove that the white man is a liar when he got the black community to give up 10 million dollars collectively to his unia organization in the 20's and 30's. 2 madame cj walker got to pull 8 million dollars out of the hood during that same period. the white man is a liar.
