I've never heard K-rino touch on anything Canibus didn't already cover on the lyricist end... but I have heard Canibus make club songs tho ...even though they don't play them in the club

Yeah, I don't think logically anyone can be mad at either, both exceptional lyricists. I'm huge fans of both and am cool with both. Personally I've heard K-Rino touch on numerous areas I haven't heard Bis touch on, and I think I've heard things likewise Bis has does K hasn't touched on to that extent. I think 1 of the areas I mean is as a songmaker, I think K will tell more stories and have more social/political content but when he does it he will still be 95 percent of the time come with exceptional lyrics. I think K's lyrics are also more emotionally driven overall, which I think is an art and skill in and of itself. That's probably what gives K-Rino the edge to me as I mentioned, the diversity to bring superb lyrics on such a wide array of subjects. But Bis is clearly a masterful all time great lyricist. Maybe @Hybrinetics opinion may interest you if he wants to weigh in, as I believe Bis is his favourite MC, and he is a fan of K too.

K with the multis/rhyming and creative storytelling/political content, bis with the complex metaphors and references/knowledge/science he ties in to the music. his flow and word choice is real unorthodox, like you dont know whats coming next. Whereas those with structured multis you know gonna rhyme the next syllables the next line. there are some songs ive listened too probably a hundred times and ill pick up new things from his bars the next time i hear it, like C of tranquility. Fiat Accompli i still havent broke all of it down yet. K is more in your face yo understand what hes saying when talking political content. Bis you gotta replay the shyt time after time to get the gems cuz theyre all in metaphors. at least his later music from 07 on

Bis does tell stories, but I think K probably does it a bit more. Also think he has more concept songs, probably the most in Hip Hop history actually. No Return beat was dope, wasn't 1 of my favourites from the album but I always liked the beat.

Yeah, both exceptional lyricists. I see where you're coming from, I think Bis is more abstract, some of his shyt in a sense is kind of Wu Tang ish but with more complex lyrics and a deeper vocabulary. I wouldn't say you can predict where K is going with the multi style though cause his vocabulary is so extensive there's many places he can go with it. I think they can both drop lyricism of the highest calibre, 1 of the reasons I put K ahead like I mentioned lyrically is probably the diversity, he does it on so many topics consistently. I guess some kind of preference may come into it too, as Bis has a lot of very abstract work, some people hate that, personally I'm a fan of both of Bis's styles, the more complex/abstract shyt and the more in your face style. C Of Tranqulity is just a joint that is crazy, the OG version, Poet Laureate 2 is classic, 1 of the GOAT Hip Hop songs. So anyone picking Bis isn't gonna get no complaints from me, Bis is the man, likewise with K, you can't go wrong with either.

Yeah Rino tells more stories but Bis can, he just does other stuff.
Have you heard Sporty Thievz "Street Cinema" album?
The entire album is stories. Some of the stories connect as well. Excellent album.



Sticky Fingaz Black Trash is good as well. Sticky goes to court in the middle of the album and the prosecutor is Canibus so you already know its bad ...then his public defender is Redman being ghetto. Hilarity ensues and he ends up in jail.
